What is Create Protocol?
Create Protocol is a completely decentralized ecosystem, structured around creators and artists, which has multiple decentralized applications (DApps) built on top of it. All these DApps are governed and powered by the create governance token - $CR8

What is $CR8?
$CR8 is the governance token that drives the Create community, it enables Network Security, Exclusive Feature Access, and the transactions across the system will be undertaken using transactional tokens in crypto wallets. The maximum total token supply is 10 billion tokens.
Do we need to have a digital wallet to do transactions?
Yes, it’s a requisite for you to have a digital wallet to do any kind of transactions on our platform but don’t worry even if you don’t have it we’ll guide you through the whole process of creating a wallet.
Does Create Protocol have or hold access to my CR8 tokens?
No, our platform doesn’t have any kind of access to your CR8 tokens.
Are there any other hidden charges applicable to me as a creator when I join Create?
No, we don’t charge any sort of joining fee. There is only a transaction fee charged whenever you buy or sell any of your creations which are also kept negligibly low as compared to other platforms.
Is connecting my wallet to Create secure?
Yes, it is completely safe and secure for you to connect your wallet to Create.
How can I mint my NFTs using Create?
Here's how you can mint your NFT on CR8 (Mercado)

1. Go to Mercado. studio and connect your wallet (i.e. Metamask)

2. Add MetaMask extension to your browser from MetaMask.io.

3. Open your MetaMask wallet and switch from Ethereum Main Network to Polygon chain network.

4. You will then need to add some matic to your wallet. After connecting your wallet, click on the CREATE button at the top of the Mercado page.

5. Select the image, video, or music file you wish to upload.

6. Specify a price, name, description, royalties, and other details.

7. Tap on Create Digital Asset.

8. And lastly, your wallet will ask you to sign and pay the gas fees to complete the process. You can either opt to pay the gas fees to mint and upload your NFT on the marketplace or, you can even choose to defer paying the gas fees by enabling the 'Lazy Minting' feature, in which case you will be able to showcase your NFT passively.
